Description

This Folk Roots Appalachian (lap) dulcimer has a traditional hourglass design with a scroll peghead. The spruce top features classic f-hole soundholes. The back, sides, peghead, and fretboard are walnut. The fretboard includes the 6 1/2/ fret. It’s set up for DAD tuning, with a comfortable 27″ scale (Vibrating String Length). The Folk Roots large body design (8″ maximum width, 2-1/4″ deep) offers full, deep tone. It’s equipped with open gear tuners. A sturdy padded black nylon gigbag is included. These instruments are handmade one at a time in the USA.
