“Christ By Whose Death…” was commissioned by the congregation of Christ Lutheran Church in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where the composer has worked as Music Director and Organist since 1984. The work was premiered by the Christ Lutheran Church Choir in 2000 in a special service that celebrated the congregation’s 100th anniversary.
